Lounge Chillout

CHILLOUT LOUNGE SONGS with sparse Male or Female Vocalizations and/or INSTRUMENTALS are needed by the Music Supervisor of a hilarious Award-winning Cable TV Show. He’s eager to find mellow, Down-to-Mid-Tempo Songs and/or Instrumentals in the general stylistic ballpark of acts like Bonobo, Thievery Corporation, Royksopp, etc. Please listen to the following references to get yourself in the general ballpark of the sound he needs: “Kong” by Bonobo “Fragments” by Thievery Corporation “So Easy” by Royksopp Quoting the source: “The track or song will be used as source music for a low-key club or waiting room type scene. It’s all about setting the mood for this, so it should be lounge-y and sophisticated.” Give him material that has a posh metropolitan sound, with lush electro elements and laidback beats. Please avoid anything that’s too frenetic or busy. Imagine the music you’d hear while waiting to get a seat at the hottest Manhattan restaurant as realize you had to make a reservation last year to get a table!

got two forwards...i guess that means for thanksgiving, i just earned myself another turkey leg.

Congrats, Crawdad! Love the way you worked your amazing guitar tone into these. I got forwarded on this one, too. The turkey's gonna taste better this year! :D

Hope we both have good luck on this one!

Jerry

We all have to love each one's different takes on this listing. Yours is the funkier of the submissions I've heard, and it's nice that the sup. is casting a wide net from which to select his fish.

Cheers,
Niall
