hi guys, Newbie "Robb" Here,
i've already met a few really cool and helpful people here, funsongs, ericmakesmusic to name a couple.
I just joined taxi because, well, I"m GOING TO THE ROAD RALLY NEXT NOVEMBER IF IT KILLS ME!!!! lol
I have taken a plunge and am FULLY immersed in writing/recording and soliciting my music. I've set goals and am now chasing them with all i have!
I am not only OPEN to collaborations but am craving them as i am in my studio, 10-12 hours a day working with everything thing i have in me but making EVERY SINGLE DECISION on every track makes you question yourself, and music is NOT supposed to be a solitary thing.
I've been in cover bands over 20 years now, been holding the same one down about 15 of those 20...
cover songs are great and fun and easy money but i have been writing music since i was a child and it is more than a passion for me...i crave it like nothing else. i do not do drugs, i am almost 100% raw vegan...don't drink or smoke anymore....my family (beautiful supportive wife and 2 amazing children)and my music are everything. i am also the entertainment director at a campground in the summer so life is good to me.
anyhow, i am REALLY looking forward to getting to know as many of you fine musicians as possible and helping out anyway i can.

I hope it doesn't kill you, but yes, you must come to the Rally! It is so worth the effort.

Hey Robb! Glad you're here. I'm new too so I'm sure we'll see lots more of each other on the boards. I was doing cover bands for a few years too and recently quit doing that to just do my original music. It's a hard row to hoe but we got this.

Our catchphrase is "Abba to zeppelin".
Lots of tragically hip, bunch of top forty, some hip hop, some country( hick hop even-florida georgia line)
Eminem, lady gaga... Pretty long list really. It's a blast. I love it.
