Wanted to share some great news. LOVE CRIME, a pop/urban song that I co-wrote, won Best Pop Song at The Alchemy Songwriting Competition this past weekend! It also was a Top 10 Finalist for the overall competition regardless of genre.
Woo-hoo!
If anyone's interested in hearing the song, it is on Spotify (artist (& co-writer) Maureen Russell) and will be up on iTunes (hopefully) by the end of January.
Can also listen to it on my soundcloud:

Re: Woo-Hoo! Songwriting Competition Result
Tracey... congrats on grabbing top honors; quite an enviable accomplishment by any standard.
I'm no expert in this genre, therefore I'd be interested if your song were to be one of those that gets reviewed and dissected (say, by Robin F or other writer/mentors/coaches) for educational purposes,
on one of Michael's Taxi TV episodes.
The vocal, for these older ears, has a bit of a retro Diana Ross/Supremes tone to it;
which seems a nice complement to the more current production qualities.
Cheers,
Peter
