He Says, She Says

Post by jakyla » Mon Jan 26, 2015 3:20 pm

I'm brand new to Taxi and to lyrics composition. So I thought I would post a few pieces and get some feedback and gain the benefit of the Forums experience.
I write lyrics only and would love to work with someone who has music abilities to create some completed songs. They, adding music to my words and I, lending words to thier music.

** can anyone advise me which is the best Forum and the best format to post lyrics for members to view?

            She Says, He Says
                      (One)
She says she wants to set me free,
She can't cope, and why can't I see,
No more obligations and responsibilities.
Her life is so tainted, messed up and torn,
She's sad I'll miss her but soon she'll be gone,
cause love is no reason for her to go on.

                     (CHORUS)
He says like Columbus, I'm all lost at sea,
without you baby, it'll go on indefinitely
I'll fill this divide, and I'll get by your side
There'll be no obligation, there'll be no responsibility,
Without you my wandering winds will blow psychotically,
cause without you baby, life is a lonely mystery.

                           (Two)
She says footsteps always dissolve in the rain
soon we won't remember each others name,
She's my tropical depression, dreaming like a hurricane.
Suffocated, abandoned and kicked across the floor,
She swears incandescently through God's open door,
now she knows he's not home much anymore.

                            (Three)
She says you reached and teached me to unspell pain,
but now she can't think inside this stinging rain.
We've loved through sum bitter till it became all sweet,
please ground why can't you just reach her feet.
She says I'm the only star in her corroding sky,
She left me her halo and no reason why
