Taxi cares initiative forward
Andy Gabrys and I just got the nod for this one for our song "Into The Bright". Glad to offer up a song from this community for a great cause. Thanks to screener #226. Here's the listing and the song link is below ...
CONTEMPORARY INDIE FOLK SONGWRITERS/BANDS/ARTISTS with songs in the stylistic ballpark of Mumford and Sons, Phillip Phillips, The Lumineers, etc., etc., etc. are needed by the President of a non-profit organization that creates personalized songs for children who are terminally ill. It's extremely rare that we send out listings that generate zero income for members. However, in keeping with the spirit of the TAXI Cares initiative, we'd like to present to you this awesome opportunity to join artists like Jason Mraz, Billy Joel, and Michael Bolton, using your music to better the lives of these precious children. We've run listings for this organization in the past, and our members have been featured next to some iconic artists, and they loved the experience! Give them songs that sound like hits, with traditional song forms, great verse lyrics, and a huge chorus. The songs do not need to be geared towards children, but please don't submit songs with mature or suggestive lyrics. Your song's production needs to be record-ready for this pitch! Please submit one to three songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than Friday, February 6, 2015. Go your own way! Out of necessity, drive, gumption, whatever.. don't let anyone tell you you can't!
It's not what goes into your music that's important, it's what comes out the speakers
