My composition, Venetian Holiday, (on my Taxi page) sneaked through with this caveat from the screener:
"We've not actually discussed the idea of using Latin music of any description for this cue, Niall. Though it's certainly valid for the period, I don't know that it's what the director has in mind. That said, I'll run it by him anyway."
I really dig the open-mindedness of this cat. As it has been reiterated many times on many threads on many categories on this forum, does the screener really know-- no, wait-- has the client fully explored the myriad possibilities of other things that may work for a particular situation?
