Michael,

Thanks for sharing man! That really is inspiring.

The beauty of great music is that you never know where it will end up! How cool will it be to deposit a check for money off of something you made 6 years ago!!! Awesome!!!

Peace

Hey Everyone,

Sorry it's taken so long to get back here and reply. So much has shifted in my life since this posting.

Robbie:
My music was used in episode 5 during the after funeral gathering, the scene shows some one coming out the front door of the house onto the porch. Best I could tell they used about 6 seconds of the song. I got a high three figure check for that. I got hooked on the show too. :D

Fullertime:
You said "The beauty of great music is that you never know where it will end up! How cool will it be to deposit a check for money off of something you made 6 years ago!!!" - So true! :D And this has provided me the encouragement to keep at it.

andygabrys:
I was in Tijeras but earlier this year my wife and I moved back near our kids and grandkids in Joshua Tree, CA. We still have our shack in NM for going to visit friends there.

I appreciate the congrats from every one, and especially that some have been encouraged and inspired. DO keep moving forward with your music.

I'm from the old school days when it was [somewhat] believed that if you didn't "make it" by the time you were 25 then give up because you're now too old. I just turned 58 and I know the best years musically are still ahead of me; music doesn't care what your age is. And neither do the folks who are wanting our music for their projects. ;)
