I do have to call you out on one thing in your earlier post though...
This just isn't true. I haven't analyzed my metrics from 2014, but I used to keep copious charts & graphs on submissions, forwards, and deals. The last time I crunched the numbers - in 2013 when I submitted very regularly - my forward-to-deal percentage was 39%. Which meant that 2 out of every 5 forwards led to deals. Much better odds that you might think!I get forwarded most of the time from TAXI submissions, but unfortunately (and this seems to be the experience of many other people, including some very talented people I know) 99% of the time nothing ever happens after you get a forward!
Stick around and use Taxi to expand your net. When a company asks Taxi for music, and Taxi in turn gives it to them, those forwarded songs are going to stand a much better chance of getting heard than an unsolicited email that you may send by yourself. True, you can (and should) fish around for your own deals, but a lot of Taxi's listing companies don't accept unsolicited emails. In this case, Taxi might be one of your only ways in to these A-List publishers. And with your sound quality, you can keep up with the big boys no problem! So just submit when you've got a good fit, and let the process work its magic.
