Thanks Bill! - there was another listing that came out a little after this one I posted about, and it hasn't been screened yet. Its unusual that one person would hear and another wouldn't on the same listing - I believe policy is to completely finish screening then all the results are released at once.

here is the other listing:

D150410CO

AMBIENT, CHILLOUT INSTRUMENTALS TRACKS are needed by a well-connected Music Library with impressive placements in Film and TV. Please submit atmospheric, Down-to-Mid-Tempo Tracks in the general stylistic ballpark of acts like Bonobo, Thievery Corporation, Zero 7, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to the following references to get yourself in the general ballpark: “First Fires” by Bonobo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62Z4ibZFA6c “Fragments” by Thievery Corporation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiuDxl6GU_I “Destiny” by Zero 7 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INn1C6ImJKg Give them Instrumentals that have a cool, hip, laid-back, sophisticated, cosmopolitan vibe that you could hear in a classy lounge, metropolitan bar, or trendy hotel lobby. Full-length Instrumentals that are at least two minutes long are needed. Do not copy or rip off the referenced artists or music in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and vibe. This Library offers an EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 split. You’ll get 50% of any sync fees and 100% of the Writer’s share. They’ll get 50% of the sync fee and 100% of the Publishing. You must own or control 100% of the Master and Composition to submit to this pitch. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). Please submit one to three Instrumental Tracks online or per CD no later than Friday, April 10th at 11:59pm (PST). TAXI #D150410CO

so you still could be in luck. (fingers crossed)

Yes I did Bill - hope we both get a happy email :)

seems like a forward is really like a one base hit.
geting signed is a double
getting a placement - a triple
doing it over and over and over again - I think that would be the homer :)

This one sounds like "a triple" to me :D

Love the tone on that left side guitar!

Congrats!

Nice man! I vote for 'trip hop' too, since it's so trippy. I eyed this listing, but didn't have time. Just as well because it gives me the chance to learn more about the genre by listening to yours and Russ's forwards!

congrats
