History Channel Placement - "Engineering Disasters"

Post by pboss » Sat May 09, 2015 4:47 pm

When is a disaster not a complete disaster? When your music is underscore (with some dollars attached). I'm really into this freaky sinkhole biz, so this placement today is fitting - History Channel - "Engineering Disasters: Kentucky Sinkhole"

This placement came about as a result of a library deal that was a result of a Taxi Rally-related opportunity. Also, not that this cue is complex, but all of the feedback gained from writing for Taxi listings is what has helped the production process.

Right on Patty!

I was just watching that at the gym while on the cardio machines. This episode was about Egypt in ancient times. Cool show. Perfect for an ex-engineer as myself.

AND a GREAT TRACK!!!

Damn, Patty! This track has been used on three shows already?!?! I wish every track was a money-maker like this one certainly will be. I bet this will be a $1,000 track (at least) when it's said and done.

Not bad for 1:35 worth of music. THAT'S what I'm talking about!!!!

Hey, you guys are awesome. Thanks Jimmy, Jerry, Pedro for the kind and cool words. Peter, yes, I probably did spill something along the way. Andy - yes, this show is totally up your alley! I tried to post a show URL, but there's no free online version currently; there is one on YT for a few bucks. Matt - yeah, let's hope for the little cue that could. It's been a real struggle for me getting to the "less is more" thing, along with all of the other little considerations you have when making underscore stuff - still working on that. 8-)

Nice work Patty

You've got to be proud of that one.
Very supportive track.
