2 tracks with my vocals finally get signed

Wouldn't you know... a couple of songs I'd written years ago were "discovered" by a publisher I write for as one of the owners was perusing my tracks on SoundCloud. He must have scrolled WAAAAAY down through my track list, because I'd forgotten these were even there. Once he expressed interest, I had to remix and remaster, because some of my old virtual instruments don't work on ProTools 11. But in the end, they were taken by the library. These are the first two signed tracks that actually have my voice on them (I'm admittedly not much of a singer...).

Anyway, you know that phrase "Taxi works in mysterious ways"? These two songs were written for Taxi listings back in 2013, over 2 years ago. They were both forwarded back then, but never went further than that. Until now!

LOL!!! I made the mistake of listening to this in my office... started laughing at the "I'm So Sexy" lyrics. "Sometimes I'm even sexier than ME." Hysterical.

Second track reminded me of Weird Al's singing.

Thanks Andy, Joy, Peter, Paulie, and Patty. These tracks were fun to do (I think... don't really remember, they were a long time ago). But they're fun to listen to a few years later, haha.

Second track reminded me of Weird Al's singing.

One of the many downsides of my voice! I wonder if I should try doing a parody of Weird Al? Now, THAT would be irony at it's finest.
