Love is sun and moon and stars
On this unmapped trip of ours
And you can trust its paths are hard but true

And its brilliance will reflect
In a place you won’t expect

Love is all we’ll leave of worth
When our time departs this earth
And it’s the crown of all we say and do

And its brilliance will reflect
At a time we won’t expect

Gold can offer comfort that is brief
Although it may suffer loss by thief
And its dust is kin to flesh and bone
So it will not purchase one more day
When the arms of wind and dirt and clay
Reach out to reclaim its own

Love will guide us through the door
Where we’ll live forevermore
O won’t you let me journey there with you

Cos its brilliance will reflect
On a heart you won’t expect
