Great job! Love your voice. You certainly did this song justice. I hope you get a forward for this listing.

Awesome, seductive, intriguing version. Well done! I was considering submitting an instrumental version but thought this line front he listing was a not-so-subtle hint:

"If you’re going to do a straight up cover that sounds like the original version (we think that’s a good bet!), please match the tempo, key, and give them an incredibly great vocal performance that sounds just like the original 1954 version by the Chordettes:"

Maybe I was overthinking it though. If they are looking for alternative versions yours is an excellent one.

Perfection. Don't change a single note.

Congrats, this is as sure as sure can be a forward with a future in it :)

Hey Joy,

I've always loved this song, and you did a great job w/it. Wish I had half the color in your voice ;) Very nice.

Good luck!

All the comments on my vocal performance are making me smile!! I was a little worried about it since I was coming down with a cold as I recorded but now I don't feel worried about it at all anymore <3

Paulie I think you were right to trust your gut the way you did because I remember reading that the listing said female vocals for all versions :) If you actually did make it I'd sure to hear your instrumental version

YES! A forward! :D

Strangely the comment box was left entirely blank. :o I know Michael said there was going to be some listings with no feedback from one of his old screeners who has become a busy music supervisor who wants to screen stuff himself, but the way this listing was written it didn't seem like this was it since it was all about taxi building a relationship with a new company. Are there going to be a lot more submissions where we don't get any comments back other than just the Direct-to-that-Supe listings?

Either way it's totally fine because I'm totally stoked about this forward!!!!!! I have a plan to do three more reimagined versions of songs in their top licensed covers list and send them along in about a month to follow up.
