in case folks are keeping up with this thread... i heard back from the head screener who had some really good input and thoughts. the main issue seemed to be the strings that could have been a tad quieter in the mix. he also said the piano solo i meant to upload would have been forwarded. i replaced the goofed up track with the right one and he's going to try and send it and the stronger of the other two on to the client if it's not too late. more than i could ask for! we'll see what happens.

Exactly, and it does pay to question things. I almost decided to just let it go, but a quick email to the head screener was all it took!
