EDM Mixing Webinar

Post by Paulie » Sat Jun 20, 2015 9:56 pm

Found this excellent video featuring Dave Darlington. He walks through a mixing session and shares his plugins and techniques. Fantastic for a beginner like me, but probably some great tips and plugin examples for the pros as well. His use of a trigger track for side chaining is something I think I will be adopting. If you are a plugin collector you will drool over his deep selection.
enjoy!

Thanks Paulie. 8-) Added it to my watch later list. yeah side chain. I used to always have a ghost kick in every session but moved to a sidechain plugin called Kickstart. There are a few others out there. But having tried both methods definitely a plug in like Kickstart is much faster to use but I sure used to get better pumps with the old fashion way using a ghost kick and compressor. Might go back to that.
