A few years back I forwarded to a boutique L.A. library. After 2 or 3 months (can't quite remember) the library contacted me. I ended up signing 3 songs with them. Well, there wasn't a whole lot of action for a year and a half or so. Then, bam! They landed me a McDonald's spot and now...a movie!
I was just informed that my song "Around" will be in the upcoming film "After Words," starring Marcia Gay Harden, Oscar Jaenada and Jenny Ortega. Also, extra cool, there is a possibility of an official soundtrack release, which would include my song!
This is a direct result from a forward back in 2012. And a TON of patience.
Michael, thank you once again! You and the hard working staff at Taxi have done wonders for me and continue to do so. You've opened my ears, my mind and introduced me to great and giving friends who are sharing the same journey. I couldn't be more grateful.
