Unable to burn CD from Digital Performer 7.24

Hello,

Just recently I tried burning a CD from Digital Performer 7.24 and I keep getting an error message. I have had success in the past burning cd's from DP 7.24 but now all of a sudden, I can't do it. I've read that the CD burning function in DP 7.24 is not always reliable. I even tried importing a stereo AIFF file into DP 7.24 and tried burning that file to CD and still got the same error message. I have Mac OSX version 10.7.5

Should I obtain a program such as Audacity or Wave Editor for burning CD's? Any suggestions are welcome.

Create a playlist in iTunes then go to file>burn playlist to disc.
