First successful Taxi collaboration
I just completed my first successful Taxi collaboration with JCMac (JC).
How this collaboration came about: JC had a mastered song and was looking for someone to complete lyrics for it. I seen the post on Taxi forums, listened to the melody, and then offered my services to JC.
The song is called "Stealth Mode". It is an upbeat dance/club song. Our vocalist is a talented guy that goes by the screen name pymobwisc on Soundcloud.com. He did an amazing job with the vocals and added his own unique style to the song.
Please have a listen to "Stealth Mode" and feel free to leave comments. The link is: http://www.soundcloud.com/the1lyricistm ... mode-final.

good song, good arrangement & production; had me thinking Earth, Wind, & Fire.
I think it would benefit greatly from having the echo lyrics done by a mixed BGVs
of some female & male voices different from the lead vox - which is very good.
The dynamic of other registers/harmonies could really launch this from being
very good to being great; imho.
Nice job; well done.
And, I'd agree: successful collaboration.
hth, Cheers.

Hi,
very cool jam. Smooth, silky, vocals were perfect for the groove. It's infectious. The echo vox may be interesting with a female but the male works. Its very catchy. Percussion is steady. You can have a lot of fun with this track if you wanted to add some ear candy elements. I hope you do. Solid all the ways thru, great collab.
