"NON-MELODIC PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE TRAILER INSTRUMENTAL CUES "

Post by nolosolo » Wed Dec 02, 2015 7:28 pm

No examples given for this listing. Anyone have a sample of what they want? Drum solo? Timpani track? Maybe a drum circle jam? Or all of the above? :?

I'm getting tired of getting returns for "off target" and those are WITH examples to follow....

I can agree with that!
Is there some hidden point here?
Why not spell it out properly what they want?
Who has something to gain by letting people send them random songs?
They might wind up with an endless row of drum kit solos when the wanted a Taiko drum ensemble?
Isn't that the result?

I think if you understand trailer-style tracks you'll understand exactly the type of percussion they're referring to. It's big and bombastic. Go to YouTube and listen to trailers for action films and you'll see what they want.

Let's see, $5 a track times maybe hundreds of entries? A reviewer can probably listen to at least 15 tracks an hour and even if "very well paid" as they say, you can do the math. :|

Got to admit, it's a hell of a great business model! ;)
