There’s a sliver of light
High above a willow on a grassy slope
I have faith that flesh and bone
Is remembered in the great unknown
And that’s the warmest comfort that has helped me cope

There’s a sliver of light
List’ning to the murmur of a mourner’s prayer
I have faith that flesh and bone
Is regarded by the great unknown
As being welcome in his kingdom in the air

Let my prayer be an angel’s hand
That will reach you in the Promised Land
