Pro tools 12 genre types

Post by Joseph » Thu Feb 04, 2016 9:49 am

Just noticed that I can add genre type to a file before bouncing it to mp3. Included with the many different genres is "Primus". If this is referring to the band, that's awesome. Just thought I'd share that.

Hi Joseph. How did you go with the installation of Pro tools 12? Did you upgrade from 11?

I'm holding off till the benefits out way the hassle. :D

I'd have to unplug everything and take the computer and a monitor home to a better internet connection.

I'm wondering about third party plugins and it's a full install. All that stuff!

I upgraded to 12.4 from PT 11 and its been great (mac running osx 10.9.5) and the upgrades with track freeze etc make it well worth the time. It def the best PT yet.

Joseph: that is hilarious - I didn't notice that before.

Thanks Andy that gets one more "toe in the water". I guess I'm a bit of a chicken, I'm still running Mountain Lion!

Maybe the Primus genre gets the little toe wet Joseph!!
