I'm a lyricist looking for a new project to work on. I'm all about working to improve my writing skills and hoping one day to be successful by getting a forward through Taxi. I have wrote lyrics in a bunch of different genres. I'm hoping to work with someone who can guide me to become better as a lyricist, someone who is patience, a good teacher.
If interested, check out my music on my soundcloud page.

Re: Lyricist looking for a new project
HI there, Mary.
I checked out some of your work on Soundcloud and your TAXI page. Good start!
I would suggest that you start by posting lyrics for a specific song on the Lyric Lovers or Peer to Peer forums for analysis/suggestions/guidance,
not just sending people to a page of stuff to sift through.
Better yet, get yourself a dictaphone and start (a cappella, if need be) making up your own tunes to your lyrics.
Trust me, you'll find yourself infinitely more capable and confident.
Watch TAXI TV on Ustream and learn. Get some of the recommended reading.
I strongly urge you to get a cheap guitar or keyboard and learn to play it. Nothing fancy, just some basic chords.
Basic understanding of music will really make you a better collaborator and stand-alone songwriter.
Hope this helps! Best to you.

PS: Look over your post (and ALL communication) for errors in grammar, punctuation, etc ...
when pitching yourself as a lyricist. You don't want to have phrases like, "I have wrote lyrics in a bunch of different genres,"
turning people off.
