3-for-3 on 8-bit video game tracks

Post by VanderBoegh » Mon May 02, 2016 2:57 pm

Just got notice of these forwards. Managed to go 3-for-3 on it, which hasn't happened to me for a while. Pretty quick turnaround on this one. I had a lot of fun making these - took me right back to elementary school!

Last Level: https://soundcloud.com/vanderboegh/last-level
8-Bit Cowboys: https://soundcloud.com/vanderboegh/8-bit-cowboys

Here's the listing:
ORIGINAL, 8-Bit Style “CHIPTUNE” INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a very successful, high quality Music Library with a really impressive history of placements in Film, TV, and Commercials. They’re looking for 8-Bit Style Instrumentals that you’d expect to hear in old-school videogames. Quoting the source: “We need classic sounding 8-bit video game music in the style of old Nintendo/Sega game themes.” Give them synthesized Instrumentals that sound like the video games of long ago, with a melodically, rhythmically, and authentically 8-Bit sound and vibe. Please do not submit remixed, modernized, or hybrid Chiptune with contemporary sounding elements and genres. The more old-school and classic sounding the better!

YES!!!!

It was a deep pleasure to hear these tracks earlier, when
we were all banging away at our submissions.

Huge congrats on a truly fun listing!!

I hope to hear all of our tracks in movies to come!!

Bravo, sir!

Ms. PacMan lives! Very fun tunes, Matt. I wish I could say "elementary school" I heard these, but unfortunately it was HIGH SCHOOL! :o

Luigy and Mario Donkey Kong .....constantly coming out of his room

Wow, Matt. You've captured it! You've recreated "artlessness" in a very artful way. What fun!
