Looking for WFH male lead vocals...

Post by funsongs » Sat May 07, 2016 1:48 pm

To replace my scratchy vocals, I need to locate & hire "sound-alike" singers:
George Strait, Alan Jackson, Joe Nichols, Josh Turner - for Country;
Mick Jagger for Brit/Pot/Stones;
Boz Scaggs, Stevie Ray Vaughan, or other Blues/Rockers.
No hungry singers out there?
Peter Rahill - aka "funsongs"

well, maybe you could try this site if you don't have any luck on the forum: http://songcity.com/nashville-demo-singers/

or studiopro.

Hey Peter
Just make sure whoever you hire is willing to sign a work-for-hire agreement, a must for Film/TV. It's best to have them review the agreement and agree to it upfront. Keep in mind that some Nashville demo houses will not provide work for hire agreements due to union issues.

I've mentioned before that the best vocalists for hire are probably right here! I find working with Taxi peeps who have the talent and are already familiar with Film/TV music and the WFH process works best.

Best of luck!
:D Casey

http://nashvillestudiolive.com is also a great place and they provide a signed release. Cliff Goldmacher is an awesome guy to work with.
Good Luck
