song commission needs its real "VOICE"...

Post by funsongs » Mon May 23, 2016 12:20 pm

WFH collaborations sometimes seem hard to come by.
This private project, work-in-process, is "in need of professional help" :? :P
It's a patriotic Country-Gospel tune, straight-up Johnny Cash style.

Got singing chops for hire (WFH situation)??
- contact me, please.
Thanks.

I don't know Peter, you voice sounds pretty good to me. No pitch problems whatsoever. Your musicians sure did a great job on this. Good luck

Sincerely

Paul
Thankfully, while growing old is compulsory, growing up remains optional!

Well, gee-whizz & awhh shucks, Paul: it's nice to have at least one fan. :?
Thanks for the listen & kind words.
The track is a blend of stuff I played, and help from some of my Nashville Cats...

Your players and mixes are really sounding top-notch these days, my friend. You've managed to get all the elements in place so far, just missing the main ingredient... that dang singer! Your voice works for a demo, but I'm with you in thinking it could really use a legit Nashville vocalist to make it shine.

Have you tried the 515 Studio? www.the515studio.com. I always recommend that place - though I've never used it - just because I've met the owner Chip Hardy a few times at various Road Rallys, and he seems like a genuine guy. Not sure what he'd charge for just a vocal, but maybe shoot him an email. You can even listen to singers on that website and pick the voice that you think best fits the song.

Good luck man. Sure am enjoying hearing the progression of your music!

Thanks, Professor.
Chip Hardy was my one-on-one mentor at last years' rally, and so I have their business card/contact.
Just never contacted them - yet.
I'm doing my own mixes - so I'll take that from you as great encouragement.
Cheers.
