Red Stripe beer definitely tastes different, better in the Caribbean. Don't know why, I think they put sun tan lotion in it, or maybe an herbal supplement? Or something...

San Miguel and Foster's Lager also taste different in the import versions; I'm told they use formaldehyde as a preservative, but that might be a drunken old wive's' tale. And as long as we're ranting, why is it Red Stripe lager is ubiquitous, but you can no longer find Dragon Stout?
