Thanks TAXI!

I don't normally post in this forum because it feels self-congratulatory, but I owe TAXI a big thank-you for some of my recent successes. I can't think of a better way to thank them than to share my accomplishments here, so here it goes:

In the last twelve months, I have signed contracts with seven new publishers as a result of my TAXI membership. Three deals came from TAXI forwards, one from the Road Rally, one from a collaboration that started in the TAXI forums, one from a non-TAXI industry conference (but the meeting would not have gone as well had I not become acquainted with this publisher already at the TAXI Road Rally) and one publisher reached out to me on my website (but they are TAXI-friendly library so I give TAXI the assist there too).

Since signing my first track in June 2015, I have signed 60 tracks. Although I don't have any placements that I know of, I currently have publishers asking me for more music than I can deliver - a problem I never dreamed of having. All of this success originates in my decision to join TAXI about 3 years and 3 months ago. I think most of us joined TAXI for the opportunities provided by their industry listings and although the listings are awesome, I find that the inspiration, education and networking provided by the TAXI community are at least as valuable as the listings. Without the feedback of screeners, the peer review on these forums, the Taxi TV episodes and the classes at the Road Rally, I doubt that I could have honed my craft into something that would draw the attention of publishers.

I also want to say a tremendous THANK-YOU to those of you forum members who have taken the time to listen to my music and give thoughtful feedback, especially my friend and main collaborator, Cass McEntee, who I met in the TAXI forums. This is a special community that is founded on a common love of music and desire to improve. I am humbled to be part of it.
