AMBIENT ENOUGH ? ears please

Post by mrkevin50 » Sun Jun 26, 2016 7:35 am

Hello fellow Taxi members need some thoughts on this Cue. Not sure if ti fits the listing. I think it might be to moving or Tensiony to be an Ambient Soundscape Cue.Working on a few others as well while I have the time Any thoughts would be Helpful, and as always Thank You for your time. Kevin

AMBIENT SOUNDSCAPE INSTRUMENTAL CUES (in various moods) are needed by a NON-Exclusive Music Library that’s constantly landing placements for TAXI members in lots of popular TV shows. Give them fresh, emotionally compelling Underscore Instrumental Cues that are in the general stylistic range of what you’d hear from composers/acts like Charlie Clouser, Explosions In The Sky, Trent Reznor and Attiicus Ross, etc., etc., etc. Take a listen to the following references to get an idea of what would fall into the range of what they need:

NOTE: Don’t limit yourself to the moods of the references below, they’re open to a wide variety of styles for this pitch!

“Far Away” by Charlie Clouser:

“Axe” by Explosions In The Sky:

Lovely track, Kevin!

To my ears, it's pure ambient, without menace or tension.
(Except for that minor/diminished thing near the end, which I'd lose. : ) )

Good work!

Hi-I had listened last night and thought it was fine except for the ending, but didn't get a change to post. Seems good now :)

Sounds great!
I would "tail out" softer...
