ROCK-Based CHRISTMAS INSTRUMENTALS (Public Domain and/or Original) and/or INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a Music Supervisor-owned, Non-Exclusive Music Library that’s proactively building a new Christmas Music Catalog. They’re looking for great, Mid-to-Up-Tempo, Classic Rock, Alt Rock, Punk, or Indie Rock Instrumentals and Cues in the broad stylistic range of (but not limited to) the following references: “Got Something For You” by Best Coast and Wavves: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OYBzktBJ0k “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” by Weezer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQ-6sSRej9Q “Christmas All Over Again” by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QaT1TTJquTM “Xmas Time Of The Year” by Green Day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LLl4IqXi6w “(It’s Gonna Be a) Punk Rock Christmas” by The Ravers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lJfB5BmII0 “Christmas Duel” by The Hives & Cyndi Lauper: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My5Bzf0PQhc “Father Christmas” by The Kinks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ni04_SF-HRQ Although the references have vocals, please submit Instrumentals only for this pitch. And please remember, they need Original and/or Covers of Public Domain Christmas Instrumentals AND/OR Instrumental Cues. TAXI Tip: If you’re submitting Covers, please do full-length versions. If you’re submitting Original pieces, you can submit Cues or Full-Length pieces. Give them well-crafted Instrumentals that use Rock-based instrumentation combined with some Christmas elements to create a festive holiday spirit. Sleigh bells, glockenspiel, and/or tubular bells, with a Rock rhythm section is the order of the day for this pitch! If you’re submitting Original Cues, build them around a lively central melodic motif, while adding and subtracting layers of instrumentation as your Cue progresses to keep it forward moving, and interesting throughout. Your Cue submissions should be at least 2 minutes in length, with good edit points and Non-faded endings. Instrumental Covers of Public Domain Songs can run as long the song would normally run and should have non-faded/buttoned endings as well. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced music in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for feel, texture, tone, and vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE 50/50 deal. Writers will also get a percentage of applicable sync fees, which will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. If you submit an Original piece of music, you must own or control 100% of the Copyright and Master to pitch for this opportunity. If you are submitting a cover of a public domain piece, you must own or control 100% of the Master. Please submit one to three Instrumental Cues or Full-Length Instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis by a TAXI screener handpicked by the Library - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Saturday, June 11th, 2016. TAXI #U160611CC

Alright! Rock-on, Dude!
I also hear some other potential versions of it:
add some vibrato/reverby/Dick Dale to the guitar and it could fit as a surf/skate cue;
or, add some fiddle & pedal steel and crank it Country... both could be cool, imho.
Good job.

Great rendition! I can totally see this in a movie where there's a Christmas party, or a Christmas movie as the play-out end title underscore.
