Missed the bloody deadline!

So you would've seen Michael's email about reading the listings properly.

I did. I thought: yeah, I read the listings properly. Too right, Michael.

And then promptly missed a deadline because I had it in my head that it was 19th rather than 17th.

Never mind - lesson learned, and it was good fun (and practice!) working on the piece. I'll share it on the boards when it's done.

Yes, sir, I have done that one.. and submitted to the wrong listing.. probably a few others I cant remember right now.

One mistake I have made is not catching the earlier time on some urgent listings (like instead of 1159 pm CA time, its earlier...in the day. Not often, but I missed one or two submissions by not noting that...

Hopefully we all get systems in place to help us not make the same mistakes multiple times... (a big whiteboard in my studio helps me)

Hi Matt

I often feel like I have this weird advantage living in Australia because of the time zones. Of course, it's no advantage really, but when a listing says due 11.59 on Wednesday, I've actually got til about 6pm on Thursday my time.

Just a psychological thing.

Hehe, cheers guys. The deadlines actually give me a bit of an advantage as well, because I'm 8 hours ahead of Taxi.

Of course, it's only an advantage if I read the listings properly....
