I am a keyboard player, composer (and also a singer) from Sweden.
I've had a dream for a long long time to start a Christian progressive rock band. The only one I can think of in this genre is Neal Morse. A founder member of Spock's Beard that later on became a Christian, quit the band and doing solo stuff these days.
He is a bit heavy though (and I do like it, but not in every song and not as an overall sound). Musically I'm more into the sound of bands like Genesis (70's), Yes, Marillion and Flower Kings. Also a bit more mainstream symphonic rock like Asia and King Crimson will do fine
I'm also fine with a combo of symphonic rock, mainstream symphonic rock and jazz fusion. Just see what can happen!
So, a singer, drummer, bassist and guitarist are needed. It would be nice if you can handle all styles mentioned above.
There are several ways to jam and rehears over the internet these days, but, a stable and a fast internet connection is required.
