That's great, Robert! Congratulations!

1st year of TAXI - not much action, but starting to learn. Check.
2nd year of TAXI - more clued in, and really starting to get it because of the forum, TAXI TV, the Rally and the feedback from our A&R people. Check.
3rd year of TAXI - much more clued in, getting more forwards, placements starting to happen at an increasing pace, building real relationships with fellow members, doing more collaborations, starting to achieve what seemed impossible before. Check.
4th year of TAXI - Placements really ramping up, doing even more collaborations, motivated to work more because of your growing success, and sometimes wondering why you didn't join TAXI years before. Check!
Yes! I wish my 4-year college degree had results this substantial!

Ahhhh Mister Hamilton... you failed to mention exactly HOW you got these placements, you sneaky ol' sob. For example, I watched one of those episodes of Love and Hip Hop, and I saw you hanging out in a restaurant scene with your iPod dock on the table, blasting one of your hip hop tracks loud enough that the boom mic picked it up. And then wasn't one of those episodes of True Life about YOU? You know, the episode about a guy who has an addiction to photo bombing - I mean music bombing - various reality shows? You must have twisted their arm into using your music since it was your life they were profiling in the show.

Oh, and I could have sworn I saw you on an episode of Catfish pretending to be a celebrity rapper. And you kept sending that poor girl your hip hop cues, which she played on the show. I'm sure there's more. You've got to be the sneakiest, craftiest, and hardest-working scammer in the music world. Next stop, the Rio Olympics, where I'm sure we'll see you at damn near every event with your boom box playing tension cues in front of unsuspecting camera crews.

Pretty tricky way to force yourself into the industry. We should all take note and copy your strategy. All hail Robert Hamilton!!

Haha, seriously though homie, HUGE congrats!!

~~Matt

Thanks, David.

And thank you, Mr. Vander Boegh. Please allow me to address your observations:

Although it may be true that I did not specify exactly HOW those placements were obtained, as I recently learned from an episode of Law and Order that I was watching in order to plagiarize some really nice tension underscore - Omission of facts does not prove intent to deceive. Look... I don't have time for producers, supes, and editors to decide what music fits the scene. As long as I have a boom box, a disguise kit, and endless reality shows with little to no security measures while they're filming, I'll decide what works. Gotta go, my flight to Rio is boarding. Peace out... BOOM! *mic drop*
