A carefree spirit biking in the park
Long hair sailing in the wind
Morning cabbies see
A career woman by a coffee cart
Buying lattes for her friends

But each time I drive downtown
What I see just drags me down
Once she was my endless love
Now she’s just a mem’ry of

A forever that never was
Cos it’s plain to see
