This rapidly growing industry giant is building its own Exclusive, In-House Music Library and will pay an initial buyout fee of $250 - $500 for 100% of the Publisher's share and Master rights. On top of the per track fee, you will also get 100% of the Writer's share of the publishing and make applicable performance income.
I'm not sure if this deal is worth pitching to. Your thoughts? So they give you $250 for your song and you only get Writer's Share? No Sync fees? Master rights?

Re: Let's Talk about the deal
The buyout is in lieu of sync fees. You sign them the Master for this fee. In a sense it's like a work for hire. The master belongs to them, but you've made the upfront fee and get your backend. It's up to the individual whether they want to submit to this or not. I would. It's nice to see listings with an upfront imo.

Thanks Hummingbird for explaining the deal. At least now I know what I'm deciding on.
