Streams of loneliness are flowing by
People drowning without knowing why
I believe the stars above can see
All the sacred things that love can be

Some have said that love is blind
But I believe the stars

It’s a wise man who discovers much
In the wonders of a lover’s touch
I believe the stars above can feel
All the secret ways that love can heal

Some have said that faith is blind
But I believe the stars

If your tender spirit is afraid to choose
All the crazy things that love could be
Just remember if you risk your tears and lose
What a beautiful loss that would be

Streams of solitude keep flowing by
People stranded without knowing why
I believe the stars above can teach
Ev’ry heart the places love can reach
