GHOST-HUNTING Style UNDERSCORE INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a Music Production Library that’s currently going through a huge catalog expansion. They’re on the hunt for eerie, ominous Down-to-Mid-Tempo Instrumental Cues that have a creepy and scary quality just like the Cues in shows like Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, A Haunting, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to the references below to get in the stylistic wheelhouse of what they’re searching for: Ghost Hunters (0:00 to 0:30): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSCeZEzlZTU Paranormal State (0:50 to 1:36): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiGASUd1Zjw A Haunting (1:07 to 1:36): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrMtLj37_ig Quoting the Source: “This is for our Horror Music album, so tense and scary tracks are welcomed. Careful not to use effects that cross over too much into sound design: putting breaths or screams etc., into your music will hinder, not help TV shows - they can put this stuff in themselves!” Please submit eerie, dark, hair-raising Instrumental Underscore Cues that give the audience a feeling of unsettling anticipation. Build your Cue around a simple central melodic motif that keeps your Cue sparse, but also be sure to add in some variation and dynamics that can help propel a scene forward. Your submissions should have some tension building components, but as mentioned in the quote above, too many sound design elements aren’t helpful – leave that stuff to the post production people. Your submissions should be at least 2 minutes long with non-faded, buttoned endings. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced shows in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, texture and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). This company offers an EXCLUSIVE 50/50 deal, and an 80/20 split in the Writer’s favor for any applicable download fees by clients from their Library! Please be sure the material you submit for this pitch is NOT already signed with any other Libraries or Catalogs. You’ll get 100% of the Writer’s share, and the Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit. Please submit one to three Instrumental Cues online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Monday, July 25th, 2016. TAXI #D160725GH

Hi Henry,

nice work. Listened to Cryptic and On the Edge. Not my genre, but eerie is eerie right? I think you have all the elements that the listing is looking for. Some nice layers. Well thought out. Performed very well. Best of luck with these.

cheers

I listened to "Afraid of the Dark"... Great work! Excellent sound quality on your track, and the composition definitely hits the mark for this listing.
