SCIENCE/TECH-Friendly INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a NON-Exclusive Film/TV Music Library supplying music directly to a very popular HBO TV Show. Please submit futuristic sounding Cues in All-Tempos that deliver a similar vibe to the references they gave us below: Future – Earth (8:07 to 9:05): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhSC7Ly ... Wg&index=9 The Future World, 100 Years Ahead (8:26 to 9:15): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cXDDMLVKTE Mr. Robot (1:00 to 1:30): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-B--tEBZwCg Please submit well-crafted Instrumental Cues that could give scenes in science-related show a tech-y kind of vibe. You’d be wise to stick to a singular, exploratory mood throughout the entire Cue so your submission is cohesive from top to bottom, while adding and subtracting different elements to add dynamics and interest as your Cues progress. These Cues could be used in shows about the genome, space-related stuff, or even a scene in a show where a lab tech is looking at something through a microscope. Imagine the music you’d hear while a hacker is typing away on his laptop, or a scientist is working diligently in a lab. That’s what they need! TAXI Tip: We noticed that a lot of “science-y” and “tech-y” music is based on arpeggiated chords. Using those could be a good idea, but don’t limit yourself to just that style! All submissions should be at least 2 minutes in length. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced music in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and vibe. Broadcast quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 split. You'll get 100% of the Writer's share. The Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit for this pitch. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Please submit one to three Instrumental Cues online or per CD no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Monday, August 8th, 2016.
