Science/Tech strikes back!
Submitted two cues for the science/tech instrumental listing below.
This one https://soundcloud.com/artturnermusic/nanosecond-nature was forwarded. Yay! (It was a return on the last sci/tech listing.)
This one https://soundcloud.com/artturnermusic/a-new-altitude was returned. "Solid, but the vibe leans more futuristic than tech-y. "
I'm finding out that the science/tech underscore genre is more nuanced than I would have thought.
SCIENCE/TECH INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a Music Library that’s always landing lots of placements. They’re looking for Instrumental Cues in All Tempos that fall into the stylistic ballpark of the following references: The World's Future MEGAPROJECTS (2:15-4:43) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOCpo10zQlM Shenzhen: The Silicon Valley of Hardware (2:18-4:52) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hp6F_ApUq-c “Wolves” by Digitalism (0:15-0:45) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUJJXnSp5Xk 5 Awesome Gadgets You Must Try In 2016 (2:45-4:22) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOUgtou3l58 Give them cool, Techie-Sounding Cues that make the listener feel like they’re in a science lab or looking over a hacker’s shoulder! Feel free to play with synth textures and keyboard instrumentation to create a unique tech-y feel. We’d suggest that you stick to a singular mood and motif throughout your Cue so your submission is cohesive from top to bottom. Add and subtract different elements to add dynamics and momentum. These Cues could be used in shows about space exploration, DNA research, new inventions, and more! All submissions should be between 60 Seconds and 2 Minutes long with solid edit points and non-faded, stinger endings. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced music in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for texture, tone, and vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (Great sounding home recordings are fine). This Company offers an EXCLUSIVE agreement with a 50/50 split. The specific terms of this agreement will be determined directly between you and the Library. Because this is an Exclusive deal, please submit music for this pitch that is not already signed to any other Libraries or Publishers. You must own or control your Copyright and Master recording. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis. No full critiques. Please submit 1-3 Cues online or per CD no later than 11:59pm (PDT), on Saturday, August 13th, 2016. TAXI #D160813ST
