I have mine on Primacoustic Recoil Stabilizers, and the difference isn't subtle; much tighter, better-controlled bass that vibrates your sternum without vibrating the room and causing all kinds of buzzes/resonances. I'm looking forward to pumping out some new mixes, as well! A quick note about room correction software; if you're renting, maybe it'll have to do, but it's no substitute for room treatment, as it works only in the frequency domain, not the time domain. a given note's reverb time can change with barometric pressure and loudness. (this is the other dimension you see on a waterfall display)

I've been mostly listening the last couple of nights. Enjoying and getting my ears used to the new set.
Mojo, I've ordered some appropriate stands with additional padding where the monitor mounts.
Should get them early next week. I will have to move my desk back about 1' to maintain the right distances from the walls.
Then I will re-assess the positioning of the panels in first point of reflection.
Very impressed so far with the clarity. And I know my mixes are going to reflect that

IK Multimedia's ARC does...I'm using it here.

BTW, ARC comes with quite a decent omni [flat, measurement] mike that I've also used for tracking.

That sounds intriguing. I will look into that option.

I'd be very interested to know how they can do that with an equalizer, since no EQ I'm aware of damps reflections in the room that cause masking and smearing of frequencies. If you 'turn down' a given frequency that rings excessively through automatic compensation, it may reduce buildup, but it doesn't fix your room. Leaving aside the danger of introducing new phase anomalies your room doesn't have already, (yes, even when using a so-called linear phase EQ) you're taking an average of the room as a whole, whereas room treatment can effectively deal with problems in localized areas; a superior approach in nearly all cases.

I don't see it as a fix all solution.
I think it may be beneficial when people have an exceptionally bad room in which for the life of them they cannot get a mix to sound right. Not a replacement for acoustic treatment and proper room setup.

Actually, Bob Katz has introduced a new processor that might apply, though I don't think room correction is the recommended application.

Pedrocosta, while you're shopping around have a listen to the Genelec 8020s.

I don't recall seeing those at the local stores.
