Re: Trailer pitch - what do you think? near or far?
Hey Andy,
Definitely sounding better, fuller. The brass is sitting more comfortably. I was initially going to comment that this is more of an adventure piece, than action, but the listing didn't specify action as such so I didn't worry.
A trailer piece is defined by structure and development more than bombasticity/over-the-topness. This does have the structure and movement to qualify, IMO, as a trailer piece. The thing about trailers, and any type of synching actually, is that a lot of different kinds of music can work. A trailer editor can be leaning one direction and then completely flip, it's advertising after all. But getting it past the screener, then past the library owner, then past the editorial team....it's a long road.
So good luck with it.

Love the feel of this piece. Thought the brass was a little bright, and stood out a little. Otherwise great piece of music. It's a fit I believe. D.B. ... the only race we're in, is the human race... D.B. www.taxi.com/davebradleywww.reverbnation.com/THEdavebradleywww.broadjam.com/davebradley
