'Tension & Suspense' type track - thoughts welcomed
Hello all, here is an attempt at the below mentioned listing. Any thoughts on whatever hits your sense would be highly appreciated! TENSION and SUSPENSE INSTRUMENTAL TRACKS needed by the Owner of a successful Independent Music Placement Company, looking to create a library specifically for Reality TV.
Thanks in advance for your time! Cheers, Vincent! http://soundcloud.com/vincentpace/the-last-draw

Wow, great track. The mix is supertight to my ears. I'd be very happy with this. Well done.

Vince, I liked the piece a lot, lots of energy and I was tapping to the rhythm. I felt more release than suspense and tension. I would expect suspense and tension to sort of hang and be more dissonant, something not nearly as nice to listen to.

Re: 'Tension & Suspense' type track - thoughts welcomed
I am really just an observer for this kind of listing. Maybe a layman's reaction has some interest still.? I felt the music had a nice build, and had tension and was energetic. As music it was well composed and orchestrated, ( kudos for the synth). The listing mentioned nail-biting suspense. I don't feel it has that. But I would think that the same people needing the nail-biting suspense would want to have this shade of the sensation too, so it should be a forward.
Besides, I don't know how universal the musical language for these emotions are, You seem to be playing it safe here, making music that's very similar to that used for this purpose before. I guess that is expected and wise.

This sounds awesome! I think it's more of a Tension & Action, but my knowledge in this area is next to 0.
Are the vocal parts done through midi? If so can you try long notes instead and holding some tension notes? Dunno just throwing ideas out there.
Awesome work Vincent!
