my advice for what its worth is: take the time and learn as much as you can
about a simple easy to use recording software that can import and export "stems".
this way professionals that may want to work with you could send instrumental tracks on a professional level to you and you can drop a nice vocal on it and send it back to be mixed and mastered.
a simple laptop , a microphone with interface and a quality software is all you need.
chances are if you get that far, you will learn more and more and start mixing your self.
ask on the forum about all the recording software options
*learn all this and I promise it will change your life
learn about stems and DAW software on utube.
