Signature Link to Taxi Page

Hi all,

Hope this is the place to ask this...

I thought I had the signature thing sorted and that the link to my TAXI page for other users to visit, worked.

I just tried it and it simply takes me to the TAXI homepage

What am I doing wrong please ?

I am 'borrowing' some ideas from there !

But what I was actually meaning was, why doesn't the link to my Taxi page, (the link in my signature) take me to my Taxi page, rather it takes me to the homepage !

OK I have tweeked into a new design - but for some reason the TAXI link still takes me to the homepage - not my personal music page..... I'm stumped lol

What username did you chose for hosting (as distinct from the forum)?

I couldn't find you here: http://www.taxi.com/TonyAnderson

I'm guessing that you may have selected a different username (to your forum username) for the hosting of your tracks here.

Hmmm yes you are right - I was typing my forum username.

But I thought (assumed) that they were the same ! My Artist/Band Name is 'Tony Anderson' in Taxi. The username box is blank, as is everyone's, because it is not currently coded right and doesn't work (info from Taxi admin somewhere else in this forum).

So I'm lost as to what Taxi user name to use, as Tony Anderson has a space and I assume that won't work in a URL ? However I'm going to try it !! Wish me luck

Well just leaving a gap, as is my Taxi Artist name, doesn't work - didn't think it work work in a URL ....

Hey Tony, I'm just going through this stuff myself for the first time. In your hosting site, under Artist Info, at the bottom there is a field to place your linked name (eg. tonyanderson). It seemed to work for me - give it a try.

I just figured out what it is you need to put after the www.taxi.com/ !!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's in fact your individual Taxi ID, not a username (which doesnt work on the main Taxi site).

So having put my Taxi ID into the correct space - it now works !!!!
