YET ANOTHER TAXI PIECE, ENDS UP IN AN AD CAMPAIGN
Dear TAXI friends,
as fate would have it again, an instrumental ('Sweeping Orchestral') I composed for a TAXI listing (S101027IN)
ended up in a major ad campaign. Here's the story:
I had just finished the piece for the listing and even posted it on these very forums for feedback.
A couple of days later was I sent a storyboard from the production company requesting me to do a
soundalike of Mozart's 'Lacrimosa'. After examining the storyboard I told them that it would be better
to compose an original track altogether and emailed them the TAXI piece. They called back saying they
loved the track and requested some adjustments. To cut a long story short, I worked my butt off and delivered
it 10 hours before flying to LA for the Road Rally. Now it's playing allover Greece and Cyprus. My European PRO
told me that I should expect nice backend payments!
It was a coincidence that I had the right music at the right time, but it was no coincidence that it was
chosen right away. Why? well, it was executed according to TAXI's high bar ethics! TAXI got me the gig.
The ad has no voice over. The music carries it from beginning to end.

thanks
Adonis
PS the submission is still pending!

Very, very nice! Congratulations!
I kept seeing you at the Rally thinking that I recognized you, but never realized it was YOU... Next year we need to sit down and talk!

Thanks everyone!
your words are VERY encouraging. The audio quality on the youtube link is not that great,
but it's audible enough to give you an idea. I'm not permitted to upload a high res version yet.
soon!
cheers
