I entirely agree Steve.
We all have to learn to write/arrange a decent track/song.
Then mixing to a commercial standard presents a few challenges.
Its still a climb from that to Taxi 'Forward'.
Then a higher climb to get a deal from that 'Forward'.
Even then its a 'false horizon' because there's still the rest of the mountain to climb to get a track placed.
I reckon those who've climbed a few decent-sized mountains should consider themselves contenders to climb the really high ones.
Why not 'go for it' ?
Those who don't try, will never know.
[Personally, I might run out of talent first, but I'll still give it a shot.]
