13 Forwards in 6 months(10 this month)!!!

Post by SquareBiz » Thu May 23, 2019 11:32 am

Hey gang,
May has been an awesome month! TEN Forwards THIS month, and I wanted to share the latest with you all. The is the full song, but the instrumental is what was submitted and forwarded. Enjoy!

https://soundcloud.com/squarebizent/wells-run-dry

CONTEMPORARY R&B INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed on TUESDAY by a Music Library for a popular TV Series on BET.

This company is brand new to running Listings with TAXI, and they have tons of credits and placements! It’s very unlikely that you have any music in their catalog yet. This is a great opportunity to build a new relationship with this hard-working company that gets the job done!

WARNING: The following references may contain graphic and explicit lyrics and imagery. Listener discretion is advised.

“Do You Miss It” by Summerella

“Talk” by Khalid

“Girls Need Love (Remix)” by Summer Walker Ft Drake

Although the references have vocals, this request is for Instrumentals only.

Please send them current-sounding R&B Instrumental Cues with solid grooves, awesome melodies, and a modern sound that’s right down the stylistic lane of the references. Build your Cues around a central melodic theme, but add and subtract instrumentation as it progresses to create dynamics and a sense of forward momentum.

TAXI Tip: You’d be wise to avoid any dated or obviously "stock" synth sounds or drums. Avoid anything that could interfere with dialogue in a scene.

Any sync fees will be split 50/50 with the Company. You'll get 100% of the Writer's share, and the Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher's share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit. Please submit as many Instrumental Cues as you'd like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis by a TAXI A&R person the company selected. Short critiques only. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019. TAXI #Y190521BR

Jay,
I don't know about that, but I always appreciate the kind words. If anything comes of it, that would be amazing!
