Yeah! Thanks - I just posted the 14th song at 11:55 pm PST 28Feb07. It feels really good. There were several times I thought I couldn't possibily write anything else... especially after song #8, nothing came to me for 4 or 5 days, and I really thought I'd probably not make it... but the inspiration started to flow again. So I wrote & recorded worktapes for 14 pieces of music, 3 or 4 of which are instrumentals & the rest with lyrics. I learned a lot from the process, and I am very very sure I never would have written several of these songs without this goal pushing me. They aren't all hits or whatever, but they come from the creative process and thus they are experience in creating.Hummin'bird

I think it also pushed me to create things I wouldn't have created otherwise, and I now have 15 pieces of music that I can develop further & work on producing effectively. Should keep me busy for awhile

Way to go, Bird. That was one tough goal.

I remember someone asking me to write some songs for them and their guitar for a challenge. I had a week to do it in. I must of had a real brainstorm, because I came out with 11 in one day. He liked every one of them.I must stress that these were just frameworks of songs, with complete lyric sets.I would suggest that any sane person avoid attempting this.
