1st Forward
I'm new to Taxi and I just got my first forward! Reading through the forums helped me a lot! Just want to thank you guys in the forum for all of the info that helped me to be waaay more selective of the listings I submit to. CONTEMPORARY R&B SONGS - with strong commercial appeal - a la Rihanna, Usher, Ciara, Ne-Yo, etc. are wanted by the VP of Music Licensing at a Music Production Company that places songs in high profile television shows and ad campaigns. Lyrics need to be universal enough to fit a variety of scenarios. Male or Female vocals are OK. Songs should have great hooks that can help make a developing story line in a show really stand out and that are still running through your head long after the song and scene are over. Broadcast Quality is needed (excellent sounding home recordings are fine). We ran a Female R&B listing for this company recently #S090610RB - if you submitted to that listing, please send in new material this time around. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Tuesday, September 22, 2009. TAXI #S090922RBHopefully I can keep this going. See you guys at the Rally! The song is "You Are" on my page: www.taxi.com/crush -Crush
