Quote:There's a lot of individual threads on romantic forwards so I'll just hijack yours to say that I'm 1 for 1 this year (I should quit while I'm ahead) with this romantic forward... (most everyone has heard this already so it's not "new")...www.DaveWaltonMusic.com/MyMusic/TheKiss ... Originally written for a "romantic" scene in a horror film. very nice, Dave!!! Congrats on the Forward!

Mazz,Took another listen to the funk tune. The synth melody is very "Billy Prestonish" on the ARP pro soloist. Horns are kickin'Chuck

I've stopped thinking about my "batting average" and have started focusing on the listings that are potential new relationships. If it takes 10 submissions to get one forward to a new library to start the relationship so be it. If one can get there in one submission, even better, you saved $45 in submission fees. I wonder if a $5 relationship is better than a $45 relationship? and from the libraries perspective do they know or care?Just a few thoughts.Chuck

This recent one was a tough one anyway, it'd be nice to hear the ones that got through. It was looking for a composer with orchestral skills for an independent film but they also mentioned T-Bone Burnett who's music I love but it's not my style. It must be a quick turnaround because the due date was Thursday.Chuck, leave it to a finance guy to break it down in dollars and cents!! Or should I say dollars and sense! Cheers,MazzPS: I was a big Billy Preston fan back when he had his big instrumental hits in the hhhmmm70shhhhhhmmmmm
