4 were returned. The major feedback was that they were more appropriate either for 80's or funk/soul pitches. Even though I was channeling 70's artists, they were late 70's. So maybe they were focused on the early 70's instead. Either way, I'll pitch them for more 80's-focused listings. Just thought I'd share since we're always trying to figure out exactly what's appropriate to pitch. My takeaway is when they give a decade, I'm going to try and stay focused on the earlier side of the decade, rather than the later part when things start morphing into the next genre.
